2.2 PUW BASE

CHARACTERISTICS: Mixture of acrylic-uretanic resins in a watery medium especially selected and formuled to get a good closing and filling power to those leathers that must be thoroughly nourished due to their defective manufacturing or quality. Its aspect is of a milky liquid.

APPLICATION FIELD: Every kind of Full-grain and Corrected leathers when you want to give them the absorption uniformity that was lost through manipulation during the shoe manufacturing process. Leather suffers different stretchings depending on the place it is located in the shoe composition.

As its characteristics tell, you must use this base in rebel cases, when Neutral Box Base does not give satisfactory results.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE: After having thoroughly cleaned glues and other dirt and having repaired and leveled colours if necessary, you must apply Puw Base with a proper sponge in a reasonable way. It is to say, leaving a greater quantity of product in those parts where leather has sufferered of a higher stretching and consequently it has become more open and undernourished. Then you must let it dry from 4 to 6 minutes, depending on room temperature and humidity, before beginning the next finish operation.

Although the best application result is got with a proper sponge, the pistol application with a 4 to 6 atm. pressure or even with a camel hair paddle con not be rejected.

It is convenient and advisable for the application of Puw Base good conditions of ventilation and hand skin protection to avoid any allergic reaction or irritation.
