3. REPAIRERS-LEVELERS

3.1 LIQUID REPAIRERS

CHARACTERISTICS: Mixture of acrylic resins, proteins, filling inert substances, coloured with pigment dispersions selected in every case to get the proper tone and solve the problem presented in production. Its aspect is of a creamy coloured liquid. It is convenient for the repairer when is completely dried up in the air or with the help of a heating source to give the most similar colour and gloss to the repaired original leather . It has a good covering power.

APPLICATION FIELD: It is applied on all the slight damages of the leather, to repair it. Every kind of leather which has been finished in a tanning factory with resins, waxes and pigments.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE: It can be applied with a sponge or a good quality thin paintbrush. But it is better to apply it with a spraying gun with a step of 0,8 mm. and 4 atm. of pressure.

It is important to have a good application cabin equipped with a good extractor fan, water screen, and good light. It is convenient to use a protecting mask.
