3. REPAIRERS-LEVELERS

CHARACTERISTICS: When leather is handled during cutting, preparing and shoe manufacturing operations, in the end of the process hundreds of defects are found, due both to the process itself but also to the leather. You will find scratches, blindness of grain, sanding out of the marked surface, differences of colour tone in different parts of shoe, etc... To solve all these problems, we have got a range of different appropiate repairers for every kind of leather and every kind of texture and colour, and our zone laboratories will adjust them for every customer need. There are mainly two groups: liquid repairers and solid repairers (repairing sticks) which are divided themselves into Wax Repairers for finished leather, and Repairers for Nubuck. Every kind of repairer is of different nature and for different purpose. But we want to emphasize the importance for the manufacturer to find his own remedy in his factory as quickly as possible, inmediately after having detected the problem in production.

Our zone laboratories will give you their collaboration at once. It is also a common problem to find different tones of a colour in the some shoe or between shoes coming from the same job. In such a situation you can use a especific leveler taking a lacquer base with an aniline colouring, for example, or ask our laboratories for help to give some especific colour to bases, glosses or creams you are usually using in production. In this way you will make two operation in one step, this is, leveling colour and giving desired gloss at the same time.
