6. SOLID WAXES

6.2 LÚCIDO 77 WAX / LUCIDO 100 WAX

CHARACTERISTICS: Mixture of waxes and antisliding and slowing down products properly formuled, to get an energic polishing on vegetal tanned or re-tanned leathers properly prepared in the tanning process. It is presented shaped as solid honey-coloured rectangular bars, properly sized to be easily handled. It is also manufactured in colours, especially black and brown..

APPLICATION FIELD: In vegetal leathers "CRUST" kind, to get an "ANTIQUE", "LUCIDO", or "SHADOW" effect depending or market denominations. Generally speaking, it is a darker tonality what you will get when polishing. You will also get a thinner pore, like the effect got by ironing.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE: The application is by friction of the wax bar to a fabric sheets brush (sewn or not sewn fabric) put together to a mechanical roller with a speed of 1000 rpm. aprox. Once the brush is impregnated, you will approach the leather to be polished trying to get a uniform friction and the polishing effect desired. The roller machine must have a good dust extractor to avoid any damage for the worker who is polishing shoes. It is also convenient for the whole polishing operation to use protecting mask and proper glasses.
