9. SOLES, EDGES AND HEELS FINISHING

9.9 MORDIENTE

CHARACTERISTICS: Mixture of naturals shellacs in a solvent medium. Its aspect is of a dark yellow liquid, and with the characteristic solvent smell.

APPLICATION FIELD: For getting a high quality finish in EDGES and HEELS.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE: EDGES and HEELS are sanded with a thick sandpaper (80-140). Afterwards you will apply MORDIENTE with a paintbrush. Once MORDIENTE is dried up (5-10 minutes), you will sand with a thin sandpaper (240-320). MORDIENTE makes leather with hard fiber easier to be sanded, and therefore a nice and glazed surface.
